Wastewater treatment & Environment Management Consultant
Masters in Environmental Science & Engineering from IIT, Mumbai with more than 30 years experience in environmental field. Hands-on professional with an expertise in both conventional, modern wastewater treatment technologies and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) concept.
Worked with EPC companies, Govt. Regulatory Body, Consultancy Company as well as in teaching and training professions. Wide experience in designing WTPs as well as WWTPs envisaging diverse technologies like UASB, SBR, MBBR, MBR, ASP, Extended Aeration and advanced treatments like RO, UF, evaporation technologies, etc.
Conducts Training / Workshops on Wastewater Treatment Unit Processes & Design, ZLD concept, O&M of Wastewater / Water treatment Plants and trouble shooting. Has done several public awareness programs, incliding a TV interview.

A Poet, Painter and Vocal Musician
Pursuing her natural talents, Vinita has developed her skills in multiple arts.
While her vocal talents were apparent at an early age, she focused on serious singing only much later. She has been training in Vocal music, with Bhavgeet training under Pt. Yashawant Dev, light music under Ms. *** and ***** . She is currently persuing classical Music under guidance from *********. Over the years, she has also tried her hand at multiple music instruments like Harmonium, Mouth organ and Violin!
She took training in Charcoal painting under Ms. *********, with focus on Portraits. She has since developed the skills to create multi-color charcoals. She has also done several acrylic and water paintings. Her first love remains Portraits, both using pencils and charcoals.
While she had been dabbling in poetry from her collage days, she started pursuing it seriously since only last few years. She started with expressing in Charolya (4-liners’) form and has since developed into quite a sophisticated poet, conveying complex thoughts with a vivid imagery in a lyrical form. She has published a book, Onjal, which married her Charolyas with her paintings.

Social Work
Vinita is engaged with social organisations, in particular related to education. She is an active member of Vidyadaan Sahayyak Mandal (VSM), Thane. VSM believes that capable students from financially weak sections need not only funding support, but they also needs continuous guidance and motivation to excel in their studies.

She is a mentor to three students at present. She is also a key member of Career Guidance group.
